CAF (Currency Adjustment Factor) Surcharge

CAF surcharge applies to consignments where the direct supply of service is dependent on either the Euro (EUR €) or the US Dollar (USD $).

The Currency Adjustment Factor surcharge is based upon currency exchange rates as recorded by the London foreign exchange market as published by the London Stock Exchange. European & Worldwide logistics services trade in various currencies including the Euro (EUR €) and US Dollar (USD $). The CAF system is applied by global logistics companies to protect service providers from fluctuating currency costs and consequent financial losses. The applicable exchange rates for below CAF tables are taken from http://www.londonstockexchange.com by calculating the first half month average exchange rate and then applying it to the forthcoming month.

CAF EUR surcharge applies to all consignments moved to from or within Europe via the Palletways European pallet network or via our direct Europe Overland Road services.
